A unique, so far the only one in the world stuffed capercaillie on a stub — a synthesis of taxidermy, stone-cutting and jewelry art. The pedestal in the shape of a stub is made of petrified wood.

The eyes are made in the technique of three —dimensional mosaic: the iris is a tiger’s eye (a cryptocrystalline variety of translucent quartz), pupils — onyx, cornea — transparent rhinestone. The eyebrow is a synthetic ruby. The beak is silver. 9250 (casting). In the beak of the grouse is citrine sun, symbolizing the dawn — the time when this «relic» bird of the Russian forests sings (talks).

The claws are decorated with a gold coating.

There are no bones
or organic remains of mollusk shells
