1. Elk
2. Maral (Siberian red deer)
3. Siberian roe deer
4. Brown bear
5. Grey wolf
6. Lynx
7. Capercaillie
The trophy of ungulates — elk, moral, roe deer — are horns on the frontal bone or skull. Carnivorous — bear, wolf, lynx — full skull. Capercaillie —stuffed bird.
And that is of interest. This list goes back to the culture of court hunting of the Russian Emperors: to the reign of His Imperial Majesty, the Sovereign Emperor Alexander II. «His greatest love was spring hunting for capercaillieand winter hunting for bear». Winter bear hunting was combined with elk hunting. «To increase the variety of winter hunts», the hunters received «thetask: in addition to moose, to hunt roe deer, lynx and wolves». In addition, after acquisition of the Livadia estate, Alexander Nikolaevich hunted in the Crimea: «in the mountains, hunts for deer and goats were arranged»
